Kids on the Move
Your kids may not be crossing the ocean, but they will be getting plenty of movement on this European-themed playground. While experts recommend 60 minutes of physical activity a day, the CDC estimates that less than ¼ of children actually get that amount. With all its play climbing features, it won’t be hard for your kids to have their daily dose of exercise on the Francaise. An hour of active fun will fly by without any nagging needed on your part! The Rock Wall Panel is a great place to engage those leg and arm muscles as they reach the peak of the French Alps. If the Rock Wall is occupied by one of their friends, kids can get their climbing fix on the Tree Climber or Vertical Pipe Ladder. The Handle Panels make it easy to get the upper body working as hard as those little legs. Once they slide down the Double Slide, you will see your little ones running to climb right back up to get themselves another turn!
Using that Imagination
What better way to use the imagination than to visualize the beautiful French countryside while outside in the fresh air. Children will experience the majesty of the mountains when they look at the vibrant color image on the outside of the Photo Panel. If your kids are more regal than outdoorsy, they will find their own adventure on the other side of the Francaise playset. What child doesn’t love to play royalty by dreaming up a life in an extravagant castle? That’s why we made the other Photo Panel to feature a magical scene that will transport them to life in the 16th century. Your kids will love imagining themselves scaling the Alps or taking part in the monarchy, or perhaps using the Steering Wheel to steer along the French Riviera. With our themed playgrounds, the possibilities are endless!
Making France Accessible
Nobody wants to be left behind when their friends go on a thrilling playground vacation to France! Every child should be able to experience the joy of travel, even if it’s only in their imagination. Most small outdoor playsets are not truly inclusive, so we make themed playgrounds for all ages that are fully handicap accessible. The Francaise was designed intentionally to meet the standards for an ADA accessible playground so each of your children can have the full French experience regardless of ability differences. Physical limitations will not prevent your youngsters from having a European playground adventure with their friends. Our smooth safety surfacing allows easy access for wheelchairs and other mobility devices, and the abundance of handrails makes it easier for children to boost themselves to the upper level. Now, they can team up with a buddy down the Double Slide and partake in all the benefits of free play with their peers.
